Jujube is a small and relatively sweet fruit that has different varieties. The most famous type of jujube grows in South Asia and it has been planted for about four thousand years. This fruit can be consumed both fresh (as long as it is green) and dry (when it is fully ripe and turns red or jujube), in which the properties of jujube are greater. The texture of a fresh jujube is similar to an apple, but some other varieties are very similar to an apple, however, the taste of this fruit varies from sour to sweet with its amazing properties.
